This Victron MultiPlus 24-800-16-16 Inverter Charger is composed of a compact housing, a sinusoidal inverter, a battery charger with variable charging technology, and a high-speed Alternating Current (AC) transfer switch.

This inverter has the function of a charger at the same time, so it performs two functions in one. I will explain both functions to you below:

• On the one hand, we have the inverter, which is the device that is responsible for transforming the 12 or 24 Volt voltage of a battery system, to the voltage that normally reaches homes.
• On the other hand, we found the load. Its function is to charge the batteries from an alternate power source (normally 220-230V). You can automatically program the “Inverter Charger” to automatically recharge the batteries when they are low in charge.
